Wordz

Wordz, the word game where you trace words in a letter grid

Slide your finger from letter to letter to form words. The app hides a crossword: each word you trace that belongs to it is revealed. Other words from the dictionary also score points, until the timer runs out.

Available on the App Store (iPhone, iPad) and on Google Play (Android).

The idea in one example

Here is a grid dealt by the app in Grid mode, with the French dictionary. The word PLANTE is traced across 6 adjacent cells, numbered in order: it is one of the 10 target words in this game and scores 48 points.

In this same grid, 360 dictionary words can be traced. The rules explain which ones are accepted, and the examples show them all.
